Our molded reed switch (BSM-05G/J Series) is made up of a single pole-single throw channel when the switching power is rated at 5W with a breakdown voltage of 230VDC.

This switch has two reeds that are sensitive to magnets. When a magnet is brought close to the switch, the reeds are magnetically attracted and the switch closes, allowing current to flow. The switch can be activated by different types of magnets, such as an electromagnet or a permanent magnet, or a combination of both.

This molded reed switch is designed with a double-ended configuration. It is available in two lead configurations: Gull wing and J-Bend. These are different types of lead arrangements that make it easier to connect the switch in various electronic circuits and systems.
